Return Policy
20% re-stocking fee on all non-defective returns. No credit or refund after 14 days of receiving goods. No credit or refund will be given if software has been opened. All returned goods must have an RMA number, copy of Invoice, and problem stated. All returned goods must be returned in original package with manuals. ESD (downloadable) products cannot be refunded or exchanged. Maxon products cannot be returned for any reason.

Q: If I have After Effects for Mac and want to buy the upgrade for Windows, will I be able to use my old serial number for the upgrade?
A: You will not be able to use your old Mac serial number with a Windows upgrade (or vice versa). Adobe does have a 'cross-grade' available that is only available direct by contacting their customer service.
Q: Do the After Effects Upgrades come equipped with all the extra plug-ins, such as Keylight, Cycore and Color Finesse?
A: Yes, the upgrade versions of After Effects includes all the goodies included in the full version.
Q: Can I upgrade from an educational version to a commercial version of Adobe After Effects?
A: Yes, just order the After Effects CS3 Professional upgrade. You don't even have to pay the difference between educational and commercial version. You can use your educational version's serial number to upgrade to future commercially priced version.
Q:What is the difference between the "full" version and "educational" version? Are all plug-ins included?
A: They are virtually identical. Cycore FX and Keylight are included in the educational version.
Q: Will there be any more updates for After Effects 7.0?
A: No, there will not be any more updates to AE 7.0.
Q: Does AE CS3 render Nucleo Pro obsolete?
A: AE CS3 does not make Nucleo Pro obsolete. Nucleo standard yes...not Nucleo Pro. AE CS3 uses multiple processes to improve performance, but AE CS3 will NOT do what Nucleo Pro will.... Background Render, Spec Preview, Spec Render, Commit to Disk, Persistent RAM / Render Cache.
Q: How do I get the free upgrade that I get when I ordered AE 7 during the special upgrade deal?
A: Customers who purchase a Universal English, International English, French, French Canadian, German, Japanese, Spanish, or Italian Language version of Adobe After Effects 7.0 Professional between March 27, 2007 and August 28, 2007 are eligible to apply for a free post-announce upgrade to Adobe After Effects CS3 Professional.

Q: I've heard that the CS3 disks are dual platform. Is that correct?
A: The majority of the CS3 product discs are not dual platform. The CS3 Production Premium products, including After Effects and the Creative Suite itself, have single platform discs. Though some of the CS3 products are dual platform, the license allows you to install on only one platform. Flash Professional is dual-platform.
Q: Can I switch from PC to Mac?
A: According to John Nack, enior Product Manager, Adobe Photoshop, the process involves "signing an agreement stating that you've destroyed the product on one platform, and in return Adobe will send you the product for the other platform". You'll need to verify that you do own the product and there may be a cost involved, and of course, there may be some restrictions.
Q: What Mac do I need to run CS3 software?
A: Most programs will run on G4s and G5s, but Premiere Pro CS3, Soundbooth CS3 and Encore CS3 require an Intel-based Mac.
Q. My Cycore FX HD serial numbers aren't working.
A. First make sure you are selecting the CC Unlock filter, then make sure thename and organization fields have a minimum of 4 characters each.
Q. I upgraded to Final Cut Pro 5.1, and now I can't see my effects. Where did they go?
A. Whenever you upgrade FCP or a plugin that you use with FCP, FCP gets confused about your existing plugins. The solution is to quit FCP, go to /Users//Library/Preferences/Final Cut Pro User Data, and remove the "Final Cut Pro POA Cache". Then restart FCP.
Q: I purchased a "Download Only" item - where is it?
A: Most orders that are purchased for download are processed manually, then the download information emailed* as soon as possible. This process can take anywhere from several minutes to 24 hours depending on the manufacturer and day of the week. Please feel free to call/email us to get an idea of timing. Q: Is my "Download Only" item taxed?
A: No. Any item purchased for delivery electronically are not subject to tax (no receipt of any hard materials, including manuals).
Q: I'm looking to buy multiple copies of a plug-in - is there an extra discount?
A: Typically yes, but it depends on the manufacturer. Usually multiple unit orders start at 5 copies. Give us a call or email us and we'll see what we can do to get you the best deal.
Q: I need to get plug-ins for a couple of computers that I will use for rendering purposes. Do I have to pay full price?
A: It really depends on the plug-in. Many plug-ins are available as "Render Only" versions. Read more about Render Policies.
