BCC Chroma Key
The Chroma Key is the start of the process of generating a convincing composite. Simply apply the key and tweak the density to refine the result and you are ready to move on to the next step
BCC Matte Choker
The Matte Choker is the second step in key refinement. With this tool we are concentrating on the edges of the key. We tweak the blur, choke and softening along the edges of the key.
BCC Light Wrap
The Light Wrap is again an edge refinement stage. We basically instruct the filter to reflect the background image over the edges of the keyed foreground image.
BCC Match Grain
The Match Grain process samples the grain from the background and applies it to the foreground, helping to generate the appearance that the clips were shot on the same camera.
BCC Color Match
The final step in generating our keyed composite is the Color Match process. This is where we sample from the highlight, midtone and shadow regions in the foreground and background images and blend some of the background color and luma values into the foreground. This furthers the illusion that we are trying to generate, that of a seamless composite of the foreground and background elements.
